Our Father. Easter collection

Tibaldi, the oldest Italian pen manufacturer presents the “Our Father. Easter collection” dedicated to Easter. Each “Our Father. Easter collection” pen is individually numbered and available as a limited edition.

The collection is available as a limited edition in two versions. There are 12 fountain pens and 12 rollers with the barrel in the precious black resin and detailing in yellow-gold silver and gold engraving. The other version is presented in 12 fountain pens and 12 rollers with the barrel in the precious ivory resin and detailing in yellow-gold silver and gold engraving.

The number 12 corresponds to the number of the Apostles - the disciples of Jesus Christ.
The price is 46 872 UAH (3900 EUR) for the fountain pen and 41 580 UAH (3465 EUR)  for the roller ball pen.

The collection is created on the original Tibaldi design, based on the divine proportion (golden section) or Phi. The harmony, which we feel subconsciously in works of art, contemplating the nature, is related to the presence in all of this divine proportion. For example, the proportion between the pen’s cap and the visible portion of the barrel when the pen is closed equals the Phi ratio.

The barrel of “Our Father. Easter collection” pen is decorated with the main prayer in Christianity – “Our Father”. A man appeals to God with its words for advice, with latria and thanksgiving of Lord. Jesus Christ gave the prayer to his disciples on their request to teach them how to pray. The Prayer is represented in the Gospels in full version of Matthew and in brief one of Luke.

The barrel of writing instrument is enriched with engraving of the olive branch, a symbol of peace. According to the Gospel, Jesus Christ was greeted with the olive branches on his arrival to Jerusalem.

The two-toned nib is decorated with a detail of mosaic ornament from the St. Sophia cathedral in Kiev. The ornament is a stylized image of the Six-wings Seraph. The tip of the roller is decorated with an image of Six-wings Seraph, the celestial being in the Christian culture, the most trusted to God.

The cap is decorated with the unique monogram of Christ, which consist of two superimposed capital Greek letters Χ (chi) и Ρ (rho), forming Christ’s name ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ in such way. The cap’s ring is engraved with the image of two Angels holding the Veil of Veronica. The cap’s top of the writing instrument is crowned with blue amazonite, which symbolizes the heaven. The clip is decorated with an image of a fish - one of the early symbols of Christ.

The engraving of “Our Father. Easter collection” is filled with gold.

Each “Our Father. Easter collection” pen is presented in a lacquered luxurious box. The lid of the box is decorated with the image of two Angels holding the Veil of Veronica on the plaque.
